How does the balloon work? Since our SKYPIX helium balloon is not limited by the same DCA Air Space restrictions as expensive helicopters, we can shoot at heights from ground level to 500m. Helicopters may not fly lower than 500m, so we have the 0m-500m airspace all to ourselves! As a result of this freedom, you will get unique, visually powerful aerial photos from previously impossible perspectives. The balloon is attached to the photographer on the ground. When in the air, the camera is attached underneath the balloon and is remote controlled. Images from the camera are relayed to the ground control video monitor viewed by the photographer/balloon operator (and client!). The remote control can pan 360 degrees, tilt 90 degrees, and control the shutter. This allows for the precise positioning of the camera for best picture quality. This is all achieved while the photographer (and the client) previews each shot through the video monitor prior to taking the photo. The balloon can be moved around to different angles and be sent up to any height up to 400m to easily shoot over surrounding properties. This ensures that your property is captured from the best possible perspective. The result? Maximise the impact of your property! This way, you will capture photos from angles and altitudes impossible to achieve with more expensive options like a helicopter. This new aerial photography technology is ideal for construction, advertising, industrial companies, golf courses, resorts and property developers. |
